I had a Mac Mini for a week. Mine is different from the one above: it's Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6) and 2gigs of RAM (1gig is the default).
This is an amazing little box. I had to run at Seattle's Apple Store to get a "Mini DisplayPort" to VGA-Female adapter to connect it to my Acer monitor, but when I did it worked well.
Snow Leopard to work efficiently. And 'fast. The machine does not heat up (probably because of the dual-core). It recognized my age (PC based) equipment: HP mouse and keyboard.
I was pleased to add AppleWorks (6.2.4) through the Rosetta program so I can read and see my old files (both word processing and Painting / Drawing) from my previous Macs.
Safari is fast and easy to use.
GarageBand is too funny!
